Sarah Jessica Parker’s shoe collection to launch this February

Sarah Jessica Parker’s shoe collection to launch this February

Best known for playing footwear-fanatic Carrie Bradshaw on the hit show Sex and the City, Sarah Jessica Parker is channelling her most famous character by creating her very own shoe collection.

During her six-year run (not including the two movies that followed) as the columnist on the HBO series, SJP was constantly adorned with high-end designer wear which included countless pairs of designer heels, flats and boots. From sandals by Jimmy Choo to peep toes by Christian Louboutin, it is fair to say Carrie Bradshaw had one of the most mouth-watering shoe collection any girl could ask for.

SJP confirms that Carrie’s love for shoes only cemented hers further and it seems only fitting that ten years after the last episode was aired, SJP honours her character by providing us with some fabulous footwear.

Although Carrie owned many pairs of shoes by many wonderful designers, the one designer that truly sticks out for all Sex and the City fans is Manolo Blahnik. From the silver peep toes that go missing at a baby shower to the bejewelled blue pair she wears on her wedding day, the infamous Manolos hold the most secrets and stories so it’s no surprise that SJP has paired up with the Spanish fashion powerhouse to complete the range of shoes.

SJP assures that the shoes she has designed are stylish and suitable for every occasion, from smart lace-up booties to nude T-bar heels perfectly named “The Carrie”, there is no denying that there is a pair of shoes for the Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte in all of us.

The collection goes on sale 28th February at Nordstrom and prices start at $195 and go up to $485. A fair price to pay to own a pair of the most sought-after shoes in the world of fashion, right?
