Discover the secret to youthful skin with Caudalie

Discover the secret to youthful skin with Caudalie

On Monday evening, while most of you were on your way home from work, we were at the Caudalie VIP party to celebrate the launch of their new boutique in Covent Garden, with celebrity guests such as TV presenter Tamara Beckwith and fashion models Amber Le Bon, Daisy Lowe and Ruth Crilly also out to celebrate the launch.CAUDALIE BOUTIQUE LAUNCH PARTY

At the launch we were able to discover the secret to youthful looking skin and we’re here to pass on our findings to you. As shocking as this may seem, the all-time secret to reducing the signs of ageing are grapes.  We know what you’re thinking: grapes, how is that possible? But did you know that grape polyphenols contain anti-oxidant elements that fight free radicals such as UV, pollution and stress that are responsible for 80% of ageing?  And that grapevine stalks contain resveratrol which is an anti-wrinkle, firming and anti-glycation remedy? We also found out that viniferine from grapevine sap fights against all types of spots and what’s even better is that it works on all skin types, even the most sensitive skin as well as all skin tones. Grape oil rich in vitamin E and omega 6 nourishes skin and also tightens it, as well as minimising under-eye circles and helps to get rid of acne, while organic grape water moisturises and soothes skin.CAUDALIE BOUTIQUE LAUNCH PARTY

We also had the luxury of taking home personalised handmade body scrubs made right in front of us from grape seeds, brown sugar and pure organic honey with oils of your choice. We could choose from a selection of lemon grass, rosemary, cypress, geranium and, of course, grape seed oil was a standard ingredient.AL8A2158

Now let’s talk a bit about the products. There‘s the Divine collection which consists of the Divine oil, the Divine scrub and Divine legs. The Divine oil for body, face and hair is a multi-purpose dry oil that moisturises, nourishes and beautifies skin and hair made from argan, grape, hibiscus  and sesame extracts mixed with a bit of shea butter. This all-in-one oil is Beauty Insiders’ choice winner for 2013.AL8A2148

The Divine scrub eliminates dead skin cells to reveal brighter, smoother looking skin, while Divine legs – a tinted body lotion – creates an instant natural looking sun-kissed glow which works perfectly on tanned skin.AL8A3244

The contouring concentrate shaping and firming body oil works on thighs, hips and bum to leave skin looking smooth and firm. This oil is most effective when massaged into damp skin in a circular motion.Amber le Bon and Lisa Snowdon

The hand and nail cream has the sweetest scent; it nourishes, protects and repairs hands without leaving that greasy feeling you get from most hand creams.AL8A2490

Finally the anti-ageing products will have you looking ten years younger; the Premier Cru range corrects deep wrinkles, dark spots, dryness and tired eyes.
