Fashion Meets Music exclusive pop-up shop in Camden
Fashion Meets Music is an organisation dedicated to showcasing budding fashion designers, performers, models and artists worldwide. They aim to bridge the gap between indie and mainstream, whilst providing a prestigious platform for emerging talent.
FMM establishes pop-up shops and hosts events including networking mixers, art exhibitions and live DJ sets to introduce their rising stars to industry professionals, with the realistic prospect of worthwhile careers. Following their highly successful pop-up store at Westfield Stratford City, they will be returning to Camden Town for the last two weeks of February.
An exciting, flashmob-style fashion show is set to mark the launch of the exclusive shop that will sell innovative and extensive selections of clothing, jewellery, accessories and cosmetics created by 23 vibrant, future designers. Brands will feature beautiful vintage wear, urban snapbacks, up-cycled clothing, printed tees and more – something to suit every style preference. The two weeks will also exhibit free workshops, fashion presentations, acoustic music nights and a special press/blogger event. You can even indulge yourself in a pamper evening!
If you are a supporter of eco-friendly products, look out for The Faraway Tree. This brand uses repurposed materials to create handmade bags, accessories and jewellery for both men and women. Each quirky piece creates an effortless stand-out style, always welcomed by the fashion-forward. Customers will also have the opportunity to receive on-the-spot customisation of their own clothing and even have unique bags tailored specifically to their needs.
FMM not only provides the opportunity for previously unrecognised talent to be seen but also guarantees an enjoyable occasion for both contributors and event goers – so make sure you pop along!
