“Simple Elegance” at Florian London
Yes, at times we may love lots of little details but sometimes it’s all about keeping it simple with little fuss. With Florian London’s latest collection, this is guaranteed.
John Edwards was a former accessories buyer who founded Florian London in 2011. He set out to design the ideal collection of handbags; he wanted bags from the collection to be practical and functional but yet stylish and on-trend. He wanted to combine sleek, utilitarian shapes and colourful palettes in an entirely new way with design inspiration from his love for British architecture. It took another year of research and study to create the first collection of Florian London Handbags. He studied emerging lifestyle and fashion trends to bring the customers the most innovative and unique products that are practical and functional and, of course, at a reasonable and attainable price point. The name itself comes from the meaning – simply “flowering” flowers are the finest individuals out of a number of people or things, and they aim to be just that.
These handbags from the spring 2014 collection are absolutely gorgeous. The Vienna Top Handle (above) comes in blue, pink or tan and is a really cute cross body bag. There is also a mini version available in the same colours. If you love animal print and a bit of glamour, then you will adore the Python clutch (below). The Alice clutches (top) are gorgeous and would be great to take from the office to a night out straight after. If you need a bag for the office then the Eleanor (bottom) is a really lovely tote.
What inspires such a gorgeous collection of handbags though? “Simple Elegance – ‘Simple’ literally means easily understood or done, presenting no difficulty and “Elegance” means the quality of being graceful and stylish in appearance or manner. Combining the two, the spring collection was created.”
So, if you want to liven up your collection of handbags, invest in some arm candy from Florian London. You won’t be disappointed.
