When we were introduced to SouSee Bella, we were expecting shoes you can find on the high street. We wanted something new, exciting and passionate. Well guess what? We were wrong. And we found exactly what we were looking for.
SouSee Bella was created from the need to find shoes that fit, because shoes were a nightmare to find for owner and founder, Soua’d Al Sabek. Becoming obsessed with the idea of finding the perfect pair of shoes, she decided she was going to take the challenge on herself. As a graduate from the American University of Sharjah with a degree in business administration and a major in finance, it wasn’t a career choice she had originally decided on. However, with the passion she had for fashion and design, she started making clothes in order to feed her want and need to fulfil other dreams. She taught herself the basics of garment making and after a while, she decided the next natural progression would be for her to design shoes.
The outcome of such ambition and drive is amazing. Her designs are simple yet luxurious, with shoes such as classic loafers being key in her collection. The design process usually comes from inspiration of “feeling”, like the feel of a particular leather.
All of the SouSee Bella shoes are made from the finest Italian materials, so as a result, the shoes are beautifully glamorous. Some of our favourite picks are the Croco slippers (£400) and the bright Naughty slippers (£451).
