Marge Simpson for MAC: there’s a headline you never thought you’d read

Marge Simpson for MAC: there’s a headline you never thought you’d read

Everybody’s favourite animation “mom” has officially found her place in the world of fashion and beauty as MAC reveal they will be creating a make-up line inspired by the blue-haired beauty.

To celebrate 25 years of The Simpsons, make-up mogul MAC will be taking inspiration from Bart, Lisa and Maggie’s mum and coming up with a collection of cosmetics based on the iconic yellow cartoon character.margemac

MAC are known for collaborating with not only celebrities (Lorde, Rihanna, Nicki Minaj) but they often take inspiration from pop culture icons with fabulous results so we know that Marge is in good hands. In the past they have created lines inspired by Hollywood bombshell Marilyn Monroe, comic heroine Wonder Woman and most recently they designed a deliciously devilish range in partnership with the Disney movie Maleficent starring Angelina Jolie as the lead. Therefore it is no surprise that they find their latest muse in the form of the wildly witty and boldly brave Marge Simpson, so what can we expect from their latest venture?

MAC aren’t giving much away in terms of what the collection will feature, but bright, primary colours are likely to take centre stage, perhaps a vivid green eyeliner? Or a summery coral lipstick? Either way with that brilliant beehive and the enviously long lashes we sure are in for a treat.

The make-up line is set to drop in September with more information coming soon!

Until then head over to the MAC website to check out the sinful colours from the malevolent Maleficent make-up collection and make yourself as exquisitely vengeful as the villainess herself.
