Retro and kitsch items never go out of fashion, especially if you’re a vintage lover. At Retro Revival, they’re bringing vintage back with a bang.BioSweetShamrocks

Cindy Molitor is the designer and owner of Retro Revival. She is passionate about all things retro and is keenly obsessed with upcycling long-ago, gently-used linens and china. She carefully scours flea markets and antique shops across the world to find textiles and crockery and turns them into chic accessories and home goods that will be once again adored. BioRoseyPosey

Cindy’s favourite found treasures are vintage and antique linens that she turns into one-of-a-kind aprons. She’s very selective about her items; they need to be like new but also vintage. For example, textiles that have incredible graphic detail, embroidery and lace trims that are no longer manufactured today.BioLuckyClover

Her most popular products are her aprons and shower caps. Her aprons are the perfect gift for stylish entertainers, vintage designers, retro collectors, domestic goddesses and take-out divas. From cherries to cupcakes, a wide variety of cotton fabrics, as well as hard-to-find authentic, vintage, upcycled table cloths, are available. Uniquely designed to fit most women’s sizes, tie one on and you’ll feel positively feminine, a bit retro and all fabulous! You can also get designs in men’s and girl’s.BioCupcakeSweetThing

Cindy created the shower caps as a solution to her own personal problem: “With natural, wild, crazy-curly hair and forever working to maintain lusted-after straight locks, I searched for years for the perfect shower cap that would keep my tresses dry and frizz-free while bathing. Unable to find the perfect shower cap, I designed it with a sense of whimsy and a nod to retro kitsch. My waterproof shower caps are charming and chic and will definitely put a smile on your face as you step into the shower. Having sold my caps to women and spas all over the world, I (half) jokingly say that I’m well on my way to ridding the world of those ugly, plastic things women grab from their hotel stays!”

Cindy offers a vast selection of other products as well; from plates to bath salts. Head over to her website now to see which shower cap and apron you want to buy.
