Must-have S/S 2015 menswear trends
From London to Milan, catwalk trends were evident during the men’s shows over the last month. Here’s our pick of our favourite must-have trends for S/S 2015!
The modern cowboy
Katie Eary debuted her Dallas Rodeo collection during London Collections: Men. It was a fun collection with cowboy shirts that flare and stonewashed denim with brown boots. The sunset-coloured collection was inspired by Breaking Bad, as Katie wondered who the new cowboy would be.
Dolce and Gabbana showcased influences of cowboy shirts during Milan Fashion Week. The symbolic bull was printed onto several pieces. The brand showed a more luxury side of this trend, as the most prominent tone was a rich red.
Clean white lines
Christophe Lemaire’s show at the Paris collections showcased no-fuss men’s classic pieces, following the rules of classic tailoring; the simplistic designs can easily be styled with other pieces. Louis Vuitton also supported block-colours for their timeless brand. Vuitton focused on quality from organza shirts to water-resistant bags, rather than being bold with no substance.
Wacky shoes
The time has come to be bold with your footwear; designers have paired outlandish shoes with rather conservative outfits to make a statement.
