British fashion brand Phase Eight have selected popstar Sophie Ellis-Bextor to front their spring/summer 2015 campaign.

The womenswear label are known for creating soft, feminine looks combined with a vintage and sometimes glamorous feel and it seems that they have found a perfect match with Sophie Ellis-Bextor, who is often seen rocking pretty florals and 50s-style frocks.

The range is made up of dresses, jackets, jewellery and footwear all wonderfully suited to the up-and-coming warmer months. Sophie stated that she felt the collection would be ideal for garden parties and summer weddings – she is not wrong!

Flower prints take centre stage with a delightful mix of bouquet patterns featuring roses, tulips and bergamot but the blossoming design isn’t the only pretty detailing as a diverse range of fabrics are used including lace and cotton, as well as a bold mix of shades. The colour palette is rich and inviting without being too brash or bright; pretty pink is the main hue with a dash of hot red, cool green and the odd shade of blue.

Whilst you may expect just one silhouette or simple style, Phase Eight and Sophie have gone all out to create a diverse and fresh fashion line meaning no two dresses are in any way similar. Fit and flare dresses feature alongside stream-lined fitted numbers and the always popular wrap dress – it is impossible not to find a dress from this range that will both flatter and entice you.

Sophie has most certainly injected her own style into the Phase Eight brand; a classic piece with modern touches seems to be her key look and this spring/summer line is filled to the brim with a combination of the traditional and the contemporary..
