Etam catwalk show report | PFW AW 2015
Who wins the competition for the most bad-ass catwalk? Etam! Performances from The Ting Tings, Lily Wood and The Prick along with Snoop Dogg defined the style of Paris Fashion Week! The collection explored a range of inspirations; a summer vibe, to dark and seductive, with everything in between – putting this together in a show couldn’t have been easy.
With lingerie, Etam explored the safe side of bondage-style underwear. Although black was the anticipated colour, the designers were able to push the boundaries of the designs and produce something sexy and dangerous whilst keeping the class of the brand there.
The swimwear took a completely different approach: popping colour with little details, accessorised by see-through cropped Mac jackets that got us all in the mood for a beach holiday!
The catwalk itself was a masterpiece; the backdrop screens were forever changing, from skylines to 60s-themed home décor, creating a fun atmosphere on stage. I’m afraid to say it, but this show has outdone most of London Fashion Week, and as the models strutted down the catwalk laughing and dancing, Etam proved just how much dedication went into creating this euphoric show.
