Celebrity bridesmaids: Stars who have supported their friends on the big day
As wedding season approaches, it’s time to take a look back at some of the most glamorous A-list bridesmaids in recent years.
Most recently, award winning singer and songwriter, Rihanna, was just one star to take on the bridesmaid role. The singer supported her assistant and close friend, Jennifer Morales, as she married Aaron Davis on a beach in Honolulu, Hawaii in April this year. Shown in a fun snap on Instagram, Rihanna stayed true to her style in an embroidered lilac bridesmaid dress by designer Badgley Mischka.

The dress featured a plunging front and back and was cinched in at the waist, highlighting her slim figure.
Another star to walk down the aisle as a bridesmaid was Desperate Housewives actress, Eva Longoria. The petite actress dazzled in a mint green strapless dress that featured a stone-embellished belt as she attended her close friend, Alina Peralta’s nuptials in Cordoba, Spain last month.
Model of the moment, Cara Delevingne took a backseat at her older sister Poppy’s wedding to her long-term partner James Cook, in a ceremony held in Knightsbridge last April. The bride stunned in a bespoke Chanel wedding dress, with sister Cara following suit in a white Chanel gown. The Topshop model kept her hair and make-up sophisticated and elegant, with smokey eyes and a soft pink lip whilst a low chignon at the nape of her neck completed the look.
It was truly a family affair at the wedding of Solange Knowles and Alan Ferguson in November last year. Wearing a white sleeveless Torn by Ronny Kobo dress and white platform heels for her younger sister’s big day, Beyoncé looked every inch a flawless bridesmaid.
Finally perhaps one of the most famous bridesmaids of all is Kate Middleton’s sister, Pippa Middleton. The younger sister stole the spotlight in an all white Alexander McQueen gown at the wedding of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge in April 2011. The cowl-neck dress showcased her slender figure whilst the cap sleeves kept the dress youthful and elegant.
