Michelle Keegan and Mark Wright wedding: First photo reveals the dress
The highly-anticipated wedding photographs of Michelle Keegan and Mark Wright have finally been revealed – more than a week after their wedding ceremony took place.
In the new issue of Hello! magazine, the former Coronation Street actress is pictured wearing a bespoke ivory wedding dress by Galia Lahav at Browns Bride, featuring a silk tulle fishtail and deep V-back with intricate French lace and Swarovski crystal detailing. She matched the gown with an exquisite Italian veil from Peter Langner.
Wright, dressed in a black tuxedo, reportedly wept as he watched his bride walk down the aisle to Shania Twain’s From This Moment On, later saying: “She looked so amazing. Her wedding dress was just perfect,” he continued: “Not only are you beautiful, but you are one of the most incredible people I have ever met. You truly are sensational in every single way.” Meanwhile, Keegan recalled her entrance as the “best feeling ever”.
The pair married in a lavish ceremony, surrounded by family and friends, in Bury St Edmunds, with a reception following at Hengrave Hall. There, they were met with a huge marquee decorated in white, alongside entertainment including a fairground carousel, candy cart and cocktails from professional bartenders.
The happy couple are currently honeymooning in spectacular island resort Maafushivaru, in the Maldives – while keeping their social media followers regularly updated with plenty of romantic holiday snaps.
