Stacy Martin announced as face of first Miu Miu fragrance

This September, global beauty leader COTY will unveil Miu Miu’s first fragrance. It’s a big deal when an exciting and innovative fashion house first releases a fragrance and we are glad that Miu Miu has taken its first floral scented steps. The brand has also announced that actress Stacy Martin will be the face of the new campaign.

Having gotten her fame from her break-out role in Lars Von Trier’s Nymphomaniac and with four new releases coming this year, Stacy is set to hit the big time pretty fast. The 24-year-old French-British actress is a perfect fit for the brand, with her unconventional roles and risky performances. She has even been named “Miu Miu personified” by the brand itself.

Stacy is no stranger to the brand, having fronted their autumn/winter 2014 campaign and was spotted head-to-toe in Miu Miu at the Met Gala last year. She quite obviously fits Miuccia Prada’s vision for the brand, as “refined yet rebellious”.

Steven Meisel will be shooting the campaign, as he has become accustom to Miu Miu after snapping their previous campaign. Stacy stated, whilst working with Steven previously: “The shoot was like no other thanks to Steven Meisel’s incredible sensitivity and talent.

“I’m so honoured to be the face of the first Miu Miu fragrance. Working with Miu Miu is almost like working with family.”

We can’t wait to pick up our fragrance this fall; we can almost smell the success, can you?
