Max Factor announces Star Wars collaboration
Whilst we remain on the verge of one of the most anticipated films to be released in December, Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens, Max Factor has collaborated with the phenomenon to create some limited edition beauty products.
We’ve all dreamt of achieving the Princess Leia look, could this collaboration finally be the answer to reaching that galaxy far far away?
Renowned and sought after make-up artist and global creative design director, Pat McGrath, has created two looks as a sneak peek into what can be achieved from the collection. Titled Stormtrooper and Droid, these are an exploration of “dark vs light” and the finished looks are just beautiful.
Droid, inspired by C-3PO is majestic and shimmery. A lot of gold is apparent, including on the eyes and lips; a look that Pat similarly created on Kim Kardashian West, earlier this year. “Metallics are popular again this season and fit perfectly with the film. Take some risks and have fun with a gold or silver lip.” Pat spoke of the look.
Stormtrooper, whose inspiration is obvious, focuses more on the dramatic and dark. Complete with monochrome, geometric-lined eyes and a dark berry lip, this look is very coherent of the solider nature of a Stormtrooper.
Will this collection be wearable to the general public and non-obsessed fans? We think the answer is yes and cannot wait to see the actual products!
