The evolution of communication

The evolution of communication

Through time, communication has always been key. It has allowed us to evolve into who we are today. From the very first hieroglyphics, to the smartphones we use today, and everything in between!

Communication has always been a crucial part of our social and working lives. The need for evolution within communication is due to our forever growing need to receive more detailed information at a faster and more convenient rate. For example, in the past smoke signals were an ingenious method at the time – it allowed you to pass a message to someone miles away! However it wasn’t a detailed message, and could take some time.

Even today with the technology we have, it’s not enough. We still want to communicate in more efficient and quicker ways.

Below is an interactive infographic which explains the past, present and future of communication. Take a look to find out more.
