Pat McGrath unveils first lip kit

After models walked the runway for Versace Couture back in July, everyone wanted to know the creator behind the glittering scarlet pout rocked by Bella Hadid and Taylor Hill. Four weeks later, Pat McGrath was the name on everybody’s lips as it was revealed she had created the sparkling red lip that would give Dorothy and her ruby slippers a run for their money.

The British make-up artist, recently named as Vogue’s most influential make-up artist, has just unveiled her new lip kit at Dream Downtown. Available in three shades, each set will include two matte lipsticks, a clear gloss, gold pigment and a micro-fine coloured glitter. You can choose from Bloodwine (as worn by supermodels on the Versace catwalk) which is a mix of dark purple and deep red, Flesh, a creamy nude, and Vermillion Venom, a bold red.

Titled the Lust 004 Kit, it’ll cost you $60 (£46.45) per set – not bad considering you’re receiving multiple products! If you just fancy a new matte lipstick instead, singles are available at just $25 (£19.35) or for the Lust 004 Everything you can pay $150 (£116) for all three lip kits.

The new make-up will go live on 30^th August on Pat McGrath’s official website and will be released in Sephora on 8^th September.
