amfAR 2018: Red carpet
New York Fashion Week 2018 opened with a bang recently at the annual amfAR Gala. All the biggest names in fashion and entertainment came together in support of the fight against AIDS. Supermodels, actresses and everyone glamorous in between put on their glad rags for a sit down dinner, luxury auction and special performance by Halsey.
Here is our selection of the best dressed from the red carpet.
Sienna Miller was dressed in a stunning metallic gold pleated design from Dior Haute Couture. The design evoked rock chick, retro vibes with the addition of studs, headband and layered fringe.
Bringing back that Angelia Jolie leg from the 2012 Oscars, Heidi Klum took to the red carpet in a Zuhair Murad navy strapless dress. With a thigh-high slit up one side and an asymmetrical sequinned bodice, she proved why she is one of the world’s best models.
Former Miss Universe, Olivia Culpo, dazzled in a Redemption Couture gown. Split into a glittering one sleeved top and thigh-high split skirt, the beauty proved you can be sexy and full of class at the same time.
New model on the scene, Hailey Baldwin, arrived in a Roberto Cavalli bridal-inspired gown. Floral appliques and lace details act as the focal point on this floor length, bodycon gown.
Sistine Stallone, daughter of Sylvester Stallone and Jennifer Flavin, proved she isn’t living in her parents shadow anymore. The social media star and model wore a floor length sequinned gown with a key hole in a halter neck style.
The Pretty Little Liars alumni opted for a bold Jenny Packham design. The actress wore crimson gown in matching red lip, decorated in an intricate embroidered and beaded design. A classic and elegant outfit.
You might not have heard of Elizabeth Sulcer, but you’ve probably seen her work. Regularly Bella Hadid’s stylist, the fashion insider took to the red carpet instead at the amFAR’s wearing a decadent fit and flare champagne dress with sequinned bodice and tulle skirt.
Victoria’s Secret model and Harry Styles’ ex proved her supermodel status in a draped one sleeved dress. Plush lilac velvet was shaped across a floral bodice was completed by a classic hairdo complete with glamorous Hollywood waves.
The American beauty attended the gala in a navy Vivienne Westwood dress. Featuring an off the shoulder design that is structured through the draping of fabric across the torso that perfectly highlighted her curvaceous figure.
