During the lockdown brought on by COVID-19 many of us have turned to Netflix, PS2 or Xbox to pass the time stuck indoors. Another form of entertainment that has received an unexpected boost in downloads and play time during this unprecedented era is mobile gaming. The best mobile games are quick and easy to understand, provide a challenge and keep you interested and engaged through learning curves and rewards.

Most people have favourites, our go-to games that have been around for a while, but while they’re great, sometimes something new and fresh to play and put our skills to the test is more appealing. Mobile technology and mobile gaming have come a long way in recent years and the latest titles can provide some top entertainment.

Here are the top five new games to play on your mobile this summer.

Tangle Master 3D

The ultimate mobile puzzle game! Tangle Master 3D will take you through a series of puzzles that get more difficult to complete with each level. Although the premise of the game is simple, it’s also incredibly addictive and you will soon be challenging your friends.

The aim of the game is to untangle ropes, ranging from two ropes in the earlier levels progressing up to four ropes. Tangle Master 3D is challenging and oddly relaxing and rewarding.

As you complete each puzzle and untangle the ropes you earn coins that can be used to buy new rope designs, nails, and more.

Star Clusters Megaclusters

For those looking for a riskier game to play directly from a smartphone, Star Clusters Megaclusters could be a great choice. To be available on most UK online slot sites from 24th June, Big Time Gaming’s latest release Star Clusters Megaclusters is one of the most anticipated in this industry.

Fix the Item

There’s a new wave of games hitting the mobile platform that take unusual, often mundane tasks and somehow make them fun. Fix the Item is one of these games and it’s oddly challenging and relaxing at the same time.

In Fix the Item you repair damaged electronics for your customers and in return they pay you. You also get to complete daily missions to earn rewards that unlock new items such as phones, laptops and more.

Think you could be the master of the repair shop? Give Fix the Item a go this summer. The game developers promise that it’s so close to reality that you’ll feel like a true technician.

Eve: Echoes

Scheduled for release on Android in mid-August 2020, Eve: Echoes is based on the hit space MMO from CCP games. The mobile adaptation is being developed by NetEase.

While the game has not currently been released you can expect big space battles and the ultimate sandbox experience with a vast universe to explore all from the comfort of your mobile phone.

Get lost in a world where you can create monopolies, steal from other players and take down the space baddies. The popularity of the PC version is sure to make this mobile game a big hit with seasoned gamers.

Green

Green is the latest puzzle game from game developer Bart Bonte. It follows the other successful games in the series Yellow, Red, Black and Blue. If you are new to this series, Green is an abstract puzzler. Each level poses a new challenge to make the entire screen green.

Sounds simple, but truly, some of the levels will have you wracking your brains. The app is free to download, you can watch ads to earn hints or you can pay to unlock them permanently.
