Summer in the city: Explore London’s seven exciting new restaurants
In the gentle embrace of London’s early summer, new dining venues debut, with novel menus and al fresco spaces taking centre stage. We have curated a selection of seven buzzworthy restaurant openings, from the fiery passion of Brazilian Bossa in sophisticated Mayfair (the brainchild of Alberto Landgraf) to the intimate charm of Harvest in Kensal Rise. We navigate through the intriguing transformation of Tendril, a vegan pop-up blossoming into a permanent Mayfair presence, not forgetting the historic allure of the Midland Grand at St Pancras Renaissance Hotel. Last, but by no means least, is the pinnacle of fine dining, which arrives courtesy of Yannick Alleno, the chef who stands alone in holding three Michelin stars in two separate French establishments. The British capital, in all its summer glory, has never tasted so good.

The vibrant rhythm of Brazil resonates in the heart of London as celebrated chef Alberto Landgraf opens his much-anticipated restaurant, Bossa. Nestled between Mayfair and Marylebone, Bossa presents an amalgamation of Landgraf’s meticulous cooking techniques and his reverence for the finest produce. His passion for precise cooking, forged through early career experiences with the likes of Gordon Ramsay and Tom Aikens, manifests in dishes like Skewered Duck Hearts with Farofa and Roasted Scallops with Leeks. The inviting open-plan kitchen provides a front-row seat to the gastronomical performance, encapsulating Landgraf’s colourful Brazilian cuisine in a warm, contemporary setting.
