Alain Ducasse at the Dorchester to host an exclusive Dom Pérignon dinner in September

Jean-Philippe Blondet of three-Michelin-starred Alain Ducasse at The Dorchester is collaborating with iconic champagne house Dom Pérignon for an exclusive one-night dinner on 5th September. The event will mark the UK debut of the new Dom Pérignon Rosé Vintage 2009.

Blondet, a Nice-born chef who’s honed his skills under the watchful eye of Alain Ducasse for over ten years, has been contributing to the London food scene with his contemporary French cuisine. The dedication to sourcing only the freshest, seasonal ingredients reflects Ducasse’s philosophy, underpinning the refined dining experience at The Dorchester.

The one-off event is a celebration of Blondet’s excellence and the impeccable vintages of Dom Pérignon. A six-course tasting menu, featuring the chef’s passion for vegetables and Dom Pérignon’s champagnes, promises an experience to captivate the senses.

For £700 per person, guests can indulge in the specially curated menu that includes highlights such as hand-dived sea scallop with citrus beurre blanc and Kristal caviar and a sweet dish of raspberries, in their natural way, with sorrel and Espelette pepper, paired with the newly launched champagne.

Dom Pérignon Rosé Vintage 2009 reflects a deep-rooted impulse to push boundaries, embracing risks and exploring new possibilities. After nearly 12 years of masterful transformation in the cellar, it emerges as a vibrant assemblage, encapsulating the radical exploration of both light and darkness.
