Kaiser Chiefs unveil new album and UK tour with Nile Rodgers collaboration and a fresh sound

Leeds-based rock band Kaiser Chiefs are set to release their eighth studio album, Kaiser Chiefs’ Easy Eighth Album, on 1st March 2024, showcasing a new direction with the influence of producer Amir Amor from Rudimental and a collaboration with the legendary Nile Rodgers. The announcement of the album, which features the already popular tracks Jealousy and How 2 Dance, is accompanied by news of an April UK headline tour, including sold-out dates and two special performances in London.

The Kaiser Chiefs, known for their energetic hits and chart-topping albums, are re-entering the music scene with their latest offering that promises catchy and concise songs. The new single Beautiful Girl is currently available, and the band’s frontman, Ricky Wilson, has shared his experiences of working with Nile Rodgers on the track Feeling Alright, describing the collaboration as a perfect match that helped find a place for the song within the album.

Fans of the band can expect to experience the Kaiser Chiefs’ refreshed sound live during their April tour, which boasts an impressive lineup of venues, though tickets for several shows, including those at the Troxy and Flipper’s Roller Boogie Palace in London, have already sold out. The tour follows a highly successful UK arena tour that took place at the end of the previous year.

The Easy Eighth album consists of ten tracks, each echoing the band’s commitment to creating infectious dance floor anthems. Kaiser Chiefs continue to maintain their status as one of Britain’s most beloved rock bands, and with nearly two decades of experience, they show no signs of slowing down.
