Christine and the Queens is back with Rendez-vous avec toi, a disco-infused new single offering the first taste of his upcoming album, set for release in spring 2027.
Released in both French and English, the track, also titled Rendez-vous in your arms, marks a new chapter for the French artist, blending an infectious dancefloor groove with themes of desire, romance and reconnection. The accompanying music video was filmed in Paris and co-directed by Chris and Raphaël De Albuquerque, with choreography by Alexander Ekman.
The release follows 2024’s experimental Hopecore and 2023’s ambitious PARANOÏA, ANGELS, TRUE LOVE, which featured collaborations with Madonna and 070 Shake. This time, Chris draws on disco influences and the sounds of New York jazz, describing the new music as a celebration of love and the excitement of reunion.
Fans will also have the chance to hear what comes next during a string of intimate European shows in December, including a London performance at Scala on 7th December. All four dates, spanning Brussels, London, Amsterdam and Paris, have already sold out.
Performing with a full band, Chris will revisit songs from his back catalogue alongside previously unheard material from the forthcoming record. “We revisit, we reinterpret, we remember, and we transcend,” he said of the shows.
