Disney+ announces launch date for new original series High Potential

Disney+ has announced the premiere of its new original series High Potential, set to stream exclusively in the UK and Ireland from 23rd January. The series, penned by acclaimed writer Drew Goddard, known for his work on The Good Place and The Martian, features Kaitlin Olson in the lead role.

High Potential is an adaptation of the popular French series Haut Potentiel Intellectuel (HPI) and explores the life of a single mother with an extraordinary mind. Olson’s character, Morgan, teams up with a by-the-book detective played by Daniel Sunjata, forming an unconventional crime-solving duo. The cast also includes Javicia Leslie as Daphne, Deniz Akdeniz as Lev “Oz” Ozdil, Amirah J as Ava, Matthew Lamb as Elliot and Judy Reyes as Selena.

Produced by ABC Signature, the series boasts a strong production team. Alongside Goddard, Sarah Esberg from Goddard Textiles and Todd Harthan are executive producers, with Olson also contributing as a producer.
