Panda Bear in Africa set to premiere in UK and Ireland cinemas this January

The new animated film Panda Bear in Africa will premiere in cinemas across the UK and Ireland starting 17th January 2025. The movie, penned by the writer of Gnomeo & Juliet, tells the story of Pang, a young panda from the bamboo forests of South China. The narrative unfolds as Pang’s best friend, Jielong the dragon, is kidnapped and taken to Africa, prompting Pang to undertake a rescue mission. Along his journey, Pang relies on his sharp wit, kind-hearted nature, and the support of newfound friends to navigate the challenges of his quest.

Released by Dazzler Media, Panda Bear in Africa is described as a fish-out-of-water adventure that explores themes of love, friendship and courage. The film aims to appeal to audiences of all ages with its engaging story and vibrant animation.
