Warner Bros sets UK release date for Final Destination Bloodlines, a return to the horror series’ roots

Warner Bros Pictures is scheduled to release the latest installment of the Final Destination series, titled Final Destination Bloodlines, in UK cinemas on 14th May 2025. Directed by Adam Stein and Zach Lipovsky, the film revisits the origins of the franchise’s narrative, focusing on a college student’s struggle with a violent recurring nightmare that threatens her family’s survival.

Final Destination Bloodlines features a cast including Kaitlyn Santa Juana, Teo Briones, Richard Harmon, Owen Patrick Joyner and Anna Lore, with appearances by Brec Bassinger and Tony Todd. The film promises to explore the sinister machinations of fate that fans of the series are familiar with, tracing the story back to the initial conception of Death’s vendetta against those who escape their destined end.

The screenplay for the new chapter is penned by Guy Busick and Lori Evans Taylor, based on a story they developed with Jon Watts, who also serves as a producer alongside Craig Perry, Sheila Hanahan Taylor, Dianne McGunigle, and Toby Emmerich. The executive production is handled by David Siegel and Warren Zide.

Behind the scenes, the movie boasts a crew of seasoned professionals, including director of photography Christian Sebaldt and production designer Rachel O’Toole. The editing is led by Sabrina Pitre, with Tim Wynn providing the musical score and Michelle Hunter designing the costumes. Rich Delia serves as the casting director, ensuring the film’s characters resonate with the eerie and suspenseful tone of the narrative.

The film’s return to the roots of its horror lineage is anticipated to offer both new and loyal fans of the franchise a fresh perspective on the chilling consequences of escaping death. As the release date approaches, Final Destination Bloodlines is expected to engage audiences with its thrilling exploration of fate, death, and the relentless pursuit of those who dare to defy it.
