Dept. Q premiere: On the red carpet with the cast and creatives

Based on the acclaimed book series of the same name by Danish author Jussi Adler-Olsen, Dept. Q is a new nine-part crime series created by Scott Frank (The Queen’s Gambit). Filmed in Edinburgh, the Scandi noir tone lends itself well to the gritty backdrop of Scotland and brings with it unique layers of humour that underpin this new thriller.
When DCI Carl Morck (Matthew Goode) returns to work after being traumatised by a shooting, his boss Moira (Kate Dickie) assigns him the sole member of Department Q, a new division of cold-case files. As he brings together a team of unlikely comrades, the story unravels around a missing prosecutor and the relationships Morck starts to build within the police department.
