Palmaraé gin brings Marrakech-inspired Golden Hours cocktail series to London rooftops this July

Luxury gin brand Palmaraé is launching Golden Hours, a sunset-themed cocktail series that aims to bring elements of Moroccan dusk to the capital this summer. From 1st July to 1st August, several rooftop bars and terraces across London will be offering bespoke early-evening menus inspired by the atmosphere of Marrakech.

Golden Hours will feature a range of signature cocktails created with Palmaraé gin, with each venue tailoring its menu to reflect the theme. The Roof Gardens is offering a frozen cocktail menu in its Spanish Garden, providing views over Kensington, and at Louie London’s rooftop Alligator Bar, guests can try the Golden Hour Martini. Meanwhile, at Broadwick Soho’s Flute, they will serve a special Palmaráe and Tonic garnished with mint and orange.

A complimentary Palmaráe Cocktail is available for guests to share with a companion at Three Darlings in Sloane Square as part of a special menu, in line with the event’s focus on shared experiences. The bar will also feature a Golden Hour Negroni and a selection of summer spritzes. Also participating in the initiative are The Barbary’s Neal’s Yard and Notting Hill locations, as well as Los Mochis, Louie London, Eight Members Club, Yasmin and Alba London.

Olly Horner, co-founder of the gin brand, explained the inspiration behind the event: “Marrakech holds a special place in our hearts and it’s where our story began. The current global spotlight is on Marrakech’s unique new-era luxury, vibrant hospitality and a rich tapestry of flavours. With Palmaráe, we aim to capture those meaningful moments that we enjoyed during its inception, from the hands of our artisans to the mastery of our fourth-generation head of spirit and master distiller, Miko Abouaf, in Cognac – and share that spirit in London.”
