“Letting us pass this torch on to the kids just makes me reflect on how crazy this experience has been”: Milo Manheim, Meg Donnelly, Freya Skye and Malachi Barton on Zombies 4: Dawn of the Vampires

Disney+’s ever-expanding monster musical franchise returns with Zombies 4: Dawn of the Vampires, sending Seabrook sweethearts Zed (Milo Manheim) and Addison (Meg Donelly) on a summer road trip that goes swiftly off course as the duo lands in the middle of a new supernatural standoff, becoming reluctant camp counselors to feuding Daywalkers and Vampires. With tensions running high, it’s up to Zed and Addison to help rival leaders Nova (Freya Skye) and Victor (Malachi Barton) find common ground – and to fend off an even bigger threat – all while delivering catchy songs, vibrant choreography, and Disney+’s trademark message of unity amid monster mayhem.

Ahead of the film’s release, returning stars Milo Manheim and Meg Donnelly spoke with The Upcoming about how their characters have evolved over the years and shared their thoughts on “passing the torch” to the new cast members.

Newcomers Freya Skye and Malachi Barton opened up about joining the franchise, how they prepared for their roles, and revealed that the picturesque waterfall featured in the film is impressively real – not CGI.
