Tiny Wine brings Latin American small plates and natural wines to Fitzrovia

Tiny Wine, a new bar specialising in Latin American small plates and natural wines, has officially opened its doors at 21 Foley Street in Fitzrovia, London. The venue, which began welcoming guests on the 21st of July, is the latest project from Maria Yanez and Carlos Socorro, the duo behind the Latin American restaurant group Crudo Cocina Latina. The bar occupies the former Crudo site and aims to offer an intimate setting for wine lovers and neighbourhood diners alike.
The concept behind Tiny Wine is centred on a compact yet curated experience. The 200-square-foot venue features seating for 22 guests indoors, 10 outside, and an additional 16 in a private downstairs space, The Secret Room. The wine list includes around 50 bottles, changing seasonally, with a focus on natural and low-intervention wines from small producers.
The drinks menu includes as well a variety of cocktails and beers. Among the highlights are Tequila Ginger Spritz, Spicy Margarita Spritz, and Mezcal Negroni. The food offering is designed for sharing and is predominantly eaten by hand. The dish selection comprises gildas — savoury skewers with a Latin American twist —, bocadillos, or mini sandwiches, and tapas: Mixto Ceviche, a smoky octopus gilda; the Cubanito, a sandwich made with pulled pork, honey ham, cheese, Dijon mustard and pickles; and the Romeo & Julieta, another sandwich, this time prepared with mozzarella, guava and rocoto. The latter combination of sweet and salty is a popular pairing in Miami.
The interiors are divided into four distinct areas, with the main floor featuring textured walls, soft arches and a central bar. A standing wine shop space allows guests to browse bottles, while outdoor seating offers views of the surrounding Fitzrovia streets.
Maria Yanez, co-founder of Tiny Wine, said: “We’re very excited to be launching Tiny Wine as a brand new concept. Tiny Wine was born from a love of the little things: small producers, cosy spaces and great conversation. The Fitzrovia space felt like the perfect home for a wine bar that’s all about big flavours in small pours and bold Latin American bites.”
