Marcin Rusak and Maison Perrier-Jouët unveil multi-sensory art installation revealing hidden signals of plants

Artist and designer Marcin Rusak has unveiled a new collaborative project with Maison Perrier-Jouët, aiming to explore hidden botanical messages through a multi-sensory installation. The artist explores the intersection of art, design and biology, integrating scientific findings from research at the University of Krakow into his creative process for this fresh work.

Rusak’s concept uses data on how plants communicate and respond to their environment, and translates it into an immersive art experience that seeks to challenge and expand the way people perceive the natural world. The result allows viewers to experience signals emitted through both visual and auditory elements, illuminating the otherwise invisible sensory outputs of plants to make them tangible to human audiences.

While specific details regarding the exhibition venue and duration have not yet been confirmed, it is expected to be accessible to the public. It is part of Maison Perrier-Jouët’s ongoing support for experimental art initiatives that examine the relationship between humans and nature. The company states that it backs projects with a “dimension of research and experimentation” and aims to “enrich our understanding of nature and to offer potential concrete solutions of benefit to the community”. This latest contribution from Rusak adds to the tradition by integrating scientific research into an artistic framework, encouraging reconsideration of the boundaries between human and plant life.
