Novikov Mayfair launches weekly Blues Meets Funk & Soul live music nights for midweek guests

Novikov Mayfair has launched a new weekly live music event they’ve called Blues Meets Funk & Soul. It started in June and takes place every Tuesday evening at the venue’s Lounge Bar, offering guests an opportunity to enjoy live music alongside cocktails and small plates. The new music night features live performances from 9.30pm, showcasing a blend of blues, funk and soul genres. According to the organisers, the evening is designed to provide an alternative to the typical midweek routine, combining entertainment with a curated food and drink experience.

For a set price of £45, two guests can enjoy a cocktail each from Novikov’s Lounge Bar menu, a shared plate of four finger-food bites and access to the music performance. Cocktails include options such as a Yuzu & Elderflower Spritz, a Sakura Negroni and a Thai Basil Smash, with seasonal cocktail options are also available. The food offering served on the night is comprised of late-night dishes from Novikov’s kitchen, though specific menu items may vary.

Blues Meets Funk & Soul is part of Novikov’s ongoing efforts to combine dining and nightlife in a single destination. The restaurant, which has been a fixture in Mayfair for several years, has Asian and Italian dining rooms as well as the cocktail lounge. Organisers say the new cultural series is intended to “turn Tuesday into the new Friday”, offering a sophisticated yet lively atmosphere for guests looking to unwind during the week.
