Berners Tavern to host candlelit Halloween supper concert with live music and special menu

Berners Tavern will host a special Halloween-themed edition of its ongoing Live at Berners series next Friday. The event, taking place in the restaurant’s dining room in Fitzrovia, will feature a candlelit setting, seasonal dishes and live music from the venue’s in-house string quartet. The celebration is part of a monthly supper concert series that blends dining with musical performance.

For one night only, the usually grand dining room will be transformed with an autumnal display of pumpkins and atmospheric candlelight. Diners can expect a special seasonal menu alongside the regular à la carte offerings, introducing a Lancashire Pumpkin Risotto, a dessert called Graveyard Tart and a Golden Goth themed cocktail (available from 30th October to 1st November), which combines Don Julio 1942 tequila, Beesou bitter honey aperitif, pumpkin and ginger. The drink will be accompanied by a savoury pumpkin choux filled with spiced goat cheese mousse and garnished with crispy nuts and seeds.

Musically, the evening will feature three 45-minute live sets beginning at 7.15pm, performed by the restaurant’s resident string quartet. The set list blends classical arrangements with spooky tracks and includes music by Danny Elfman, Talking Heads, The Cramps and Nina Simone. Highlights will include Time Warp from The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Monster Mash by Bobby Pickett and Meat Loaf’s Bat Out of Hell .

The Live at Berners series, which takes place on the last Friday of each month, concludes its 2025 season on 28th November with a Christmas-themed performance featuring seasonal classics and festive numbers.
