House of Louie brings Paris Society’s multi-venue dining and nightlife concept to Covent Garden

House of Louie, a new multi-concept dining venue from French hospitality group Paris Society, has opened its doors in Covent Garden, London. Located at 13-15 West Street, the establishment spans three floors within a 19th-century townhouse and offers distinct culinary and nightlife experiences: Japanese dining at Wani Tzuki, French cuisine at Louie, and rooftop bar The Alligator Bar.

Paris Society, founded in 2008 by Laurent de Gourcuff and now part of the global Accor group, works on upscale venues across Europe and the Middle East. House of Louie marks its latest expansion into the UK market.

On the ground floor, Wani Tzuki serves as an elevated take on the traditional Japanese izakaya. The menu features Japanese ingredients and techniques interpreted by French-trained chefs. The space has been designed by Joanna Pera Duvocell, who blends minimalist Japanese design with elements of the French bistro, using materials, patterns, and lighting to reflect the fusion concept.

The middle floor houses Louie, a French restaurant that has been reimagined for the London location. Designed by French design duo Dion et Arles, the dining room features neutral tones and antique furnishings. The restaurant features live jazz performances and a menu that reflects a modern take on French cuisine.

At the top of the townhouse is The Alligator Bar, a rooftop venue offering cocktails, live DJ sets, and a mix of indoor and outdoor spaces. The bar includes a hidden terrace and a gilded indoor lounge designed for both daytime lounging and late-night dancing.

House of Louie is part of a broader trend among hospitality groups offering multi-sensory, multi-venue experiences within a single location.

The opening also signals Paris Society’s continued international growth, following its footprint in France, the Middle East, and now the UK. The group operates over 70 venues globally and has announced plans for further expansion.
