Mr Porter restaurant launches truffle-themed menu and martini flight for November on Park Lane

Mayfair restaurant Mr Porter, purportedly “where style and sophistication meet”, is launching a truffle-themed menu and cocktail offering for the coming month, presenting diners with a range of dishes and drinks centred around the seasonal delicacy. Located on Park Lane, the limited-time selection features truffle-infused dishes and a trio of martini variations, available from 1^st to 30^th November.

The indulgent menu includes options such as Dover Sole with Truffle, Polenta with Truffle and Scallops with Truffle, each incorporating the key ingredient as a complement to the dish. Alongside the food, Mr Porter is also serving a Truffle Martini Flight, which comprises three different variations on the drink designed to highlight the flavour of black truffle in contrasting combinations. The first presents “rich layers of vodka, black truffle and Aqua Bianca”; it is followed by a second, simpler concoction of vodka and black truffle, and finally, a Sicilian-inspired option made with olive oil, vodka, olives and truffle oil. According to the restaurant, the drinks are intended to “intrigue, surprise and delight guests”.

Mr Porter celebrates truffle season annually, traditionally during the autumn months when ripe specimens, widely harvested across Europe, are at their most aromatic. While the rich fungi are often associated with high-end cuisine due to their rarity and cost, the restaurant’s offering aims to make the ingredient more accessible through a curated menu served in its dining room and bar. The dishes are available à la carte, allowing guests to try individual items or opt for a full meal.
