Christina Aguilera releases new single Someday at Christmas from Eiffel Tower concert film

Christina Aguilera has released a moving live version of Someday at Christmas, recorded at her intimate Paris concert for Christmas in Paris, a new film and live album marking her return to festive music. Originally performed by Stevie Wonder, Aguilera’s rendition adds her signature vocal power and emotional weight to the hopeful seasonal ballad, now available to stream on all major platforms.

The track forms part of a wider celebration of Christmas music, arriving 25 years after Aguilera’s original holiday album My Kind of Christmas. Christmas in Paris features 13 live recordings of holiday classics and reimagined hits, including O Holy Night, Ave Maria (with Yseult), Little Drummer Girl (featuring Sheila E), and festive renditions of Genie in a Bottle and Lady Marmalade, recorded at Paris’s legendary Crazy Horse.

Filmed on the winter-garden terrace above the Musée du Quai Branly, with the Eiffel Tower as a glittering backdrop, the concert was captured for the big screen by Emmy Award-winning director Sam Wrench. The film weaves together performance and cinematic Parisian vignettes reflecting on themes of love, motherhood and personal transformation. Aguilera performs for an audience of just 250 guests, adding to the intimate, reflective tone of the project.

With over 100 million records sold worldwide and seven Grammy Awards (including two Latin Grammys), Aguilera has remained one of the most influential pop vocalists of her generation. Christmas in Paris blends nostalgia with reinvention, offering fans both a tribute to her past and a glimpse of her current artistic chapter.

The film is screening in selected cinemas, and the full live album Christmas in Paris is available now to stream or download.
