The Meet the Parents franchise is back, with the first trailer for Focker-In-Law bringing Ben Stiller and Robert De Niro together once again – and adding Ariana Grande into the mix.

Set to arrive in cinemas on 25th November, the film marks a new chapter in the long-running comedy series, with Greg Focker and Jack Byrnes facing a fresh round of family chaos.

Details of the plot are still under wraps, but the trailer hints at a familiar blend of awkward encounters, generational clashes and escalating misunderstandings – with a new in-law dynamic at the centre of it all.

Grande’s addition suggests a shift towards a younger generation, while returning cast members, including Owen Wilson, Blythe Danner and Teri Polo, help reconnect the film to its roots.

Written and directed by John Hamburg, who co-wrote the previous films, Focker-In-Law brings back much of the creative team behind the original trilogy.

More than two decades after Meet the Parents first hit cinemas, the franchise is returning with a mix of nostalgia and new faces – and, judging by the trailer, plenty of familiar awkwardness still intact.
