Jennifer Garner is set to lead an ensemble cast in The Five Star Weekend, a new glossy drama arriving on Sky and NOW in the UK and Ireland this July.

Based on Elin Hilderbrand’s bestselling novel, the series follows Hollis Shaw (Garner), a celebrated food writer whose seemingly perfect life begins to unravel after a devastating loss. As grief exposes fractures in her marriage, her relationship with her daughter, and her sense of self, Hollis devises an unusual plan to reconnect – hosting a weekend getaway with friends from different chapters of her life.

Set against the luxurious backdrop of Nantucket, the gathering brings together a group of women with shared history and buried tensions, as long-held secrets surface and relationships are tested.

The series features a strong supporting cast including D’Arcy Carden, Gemma Chan, Regina Hall and Chloë Sevigny, alongside Timothy Olyphant, Judy Greer and Rob Huebel.

Blending emotional drama with an escapist coastal setting, The Five Star Weekend explores friendship, identity and reinvention in the wake of loss.
