The Sopranos complete series arrives on 4K Ultra HD for the first time
One of television’s most influential dramas is set to receive its definitive home release, as The Sopranos: The Complete Series – Premium Limited Edition arrives on 4K Ultra HD for the first time on 7ᵗʰ December.
Released by Warner Bros. Discovery Home Entertainment, the collector’s edition brings together all six seasons and 86 episodes of the landmark HBO series, fully remastered in 4K Ultra HD and presented in a limited-edition hardcover lay-flat book featuring exclusive cast photography.
Created by David Chase, The Sopranos follows New Jersey mob boss Tony Soprano (James Gandolfini) as he attempts to balance the demands of organised crime with family life, while secretly attending therapy to manage his anxiety and panic attacks. Widely credited with helping redefine modern television drama, the series won 21 Primetime Emmy Awards, including two for Outstanding Drama Series, as well as five Golden Globe Awards during its original run.
Alongside the complete series, the new box set includes an all-new bonus featurette with Chase, the two-part HBO documentary Wise Guy: David Chase and The Sopranos, plus behind-the-scenes featurettes, cast and producer audio commentaries and additional archive bonus material.
