Tom Holland faces an unseen new threat in Spider-Man: Brand New Day trailer
Sony Pictures has released a brand-new trailer for Spider-Man: Brand New Day, offering the clearest look yet at Tom Holland’s return as Peter Parker ahead of the film’s release later this month.
Picking up after the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home, the latest instalment finds Peter embracing life as Spider-Man in a world that no longer remembers his civilian identity. As he throws himself into protecting New York, the trailer teases the emotional toll of his isolation while introducing a mysterious new enemy capable of remaining invisible.
Alongside fresh action sequences, the footage offers new glimpses of returning stars Zendaya and Jacob Batalon, as well as newcomers Sadie Sink, Jon Bernthal, Tramell Tillman, Michael Mando and Mark Ruffalo.
Directed by Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings filmmaker Destin Daniel Cretton, Brand New Day marks the first solo Spider-Man adventure since 2021’s No Way Home. Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers return to write the screenplay, joined by Justin Kuritzkes.
According to the official synopsis, Peter’s latest mission forces him to confront “a shocking new threat to the city and those he loves”, while continuing to navigate a life in which the world has forgotten who he is.
