Disney love songs to be performed by candlelight in venues across the UK

Fans of Disney and Pixar soundtracks will be able to hear some of the studios’ best-loved songs reimagined for string quartet as Candlelight: Disney Love Songs arrives at venues across the UK this autumn.

Presented by Disney Concerts and Fever, the concert series will take place in cities including London, Liverpool, Birmingham, Manchester, Glasgow, Belfast and Cambridge. Performances will be staged in venues such as Southwark Cathedral, Manchester Cathedral, St Paul’s Church in Birmingham and Liverpool’s St George’s Hall, with each concert illuminated by thousands of candles.

The programme spans decades of Disney storytelling, featuring arrangements of songs from The Lion King, Aladdin, Tangled, Tarzan, Coco, Encanto and Toy Story 2. Audiences can expect to hear favourites including Can You Feel the Love Tonight, A Whole New World, I See the Light, You’ll Be in My Heart, Remember Me and Dos Oruguitas, performed live by local string quartets.

The concerts form part of Fever’s Candlelight series, which stages themed live music performances in distinctive candlelit settings around the world. Candlelight: Disney Love Songs joins Disney Concerts’ growing programme of live productions celebrating music from Disney and Pixar films.
