The Gentlemen, Black Mirror, Supacell and more Netflix favourites are coming back

Netflix has confirmed the return of a host of popular UK series, with new seasons of The Gentlemen, House of Guinness, Black Mirror, Supacell, Black Doves and Love Is Blind: UK among the shows heading back to the platform.

One of the biggest renewals is The Gentlemen, which has already been commissioned for a third season before its second arrives on 3rd September. Guy Ritchie will return as director, writer and executive producer, while the newly released trailer for season two sees Theo James, Kaya Scodelario, Ray Winstone, Vinnie Jones and Giancarlo Esposito back in the criminal underworld, joined by new faces including Hugh Bonneville, Benedetta Porcaroli and Maya Jama.

Fans of Steven Knight’s period drama House of Guinness can also expect more from the brewing dynasty, with a six-part second season due to begin filming in early 2027. Anthony Boyle, Louis Partridge, James Norton, Jack Gleeson and the rest of the ensemble are set to return as the story of the Guinness family continues.

Elsewhere, Charlie Brooker’s Black Mirror is already in production on its eighth season, while Rapman’s South London superhero drama Supacell has wrapped filming on its second. Black Doves will return later in 2026, bringing Keira Knightley and Ben Whishaw back alongside Sarah Lancashire and Ambika Mod, with Neve Campbell among the additions to the cast.

Netflix is also keeping several of its reality and documentary favourites going. Being Gordon Ramsay will return for a second season, At Home With the Furys is filming its third and Love Is Blind: UK has secured a fourth outing before its third season has even launched. Formula 1: Drive to Survive will return for a ninth season, covering the 2026 championship, while Gary Lineker, Alan Shearer and Micah Richards are back with The Rest Is Football throughout the 2026/27 Premier League season.

Also on the way is a second season of Legends, Neil Forsyth’s drama about undercover British Customs officers infiltrating the international drugs trade. The next chapter will move further into the 1990s, with production scheduled to begin in 2027.

For viewers wondering what to add to their watchlists over the next year, the announcement means there is plenty more to come from some of Netflix’s biggest UK hits – from gangsters and spies to superpowers, football and family reality TV.
