The jewellery initiative, Rock Vault, which supports and encourages inspiring talent, has already chosen its ten designers to present their SS ‘14 creations during London Fashion Week. This opportunity will help promote the ten chosen designers and their businesses, and it will also help increase awareness and recognition from big names in the industry.

Developed by the British Fashion Council in February 2012, and organised by renowned British designer Stephen Webster, the Rock Vault scheme recognises real and incredible British talent. The scheme also gives them a platform to show off their beautifully crafted work, and to also receive well-deserved attention.

With the ten designers already chosen, eight of which are previous members, and these include well-known names such as Alice Cicolini, Fernando Jorge, Hannah Martin and Imogen Belfield, the two new designers will join the team to create fresh and new jewellery. Jacqueline Cullen, who works with contemporary Whitby Jet jewellery and Ornella Iannuzzi, whose work is aglow with colours and textures, are the two new recipients who are already brimming with ideas.

Because of the impressive success of last season’s collection, seven Rock Vault designers were invited along to the first Rock Vault international showing at Couture in Las Vegas to show off their work to US press and media, and potential buyers.

With international and national recognition, Rock Vault is going from strength to strength as it creates a strong establishment of awe-inspiring work. As it specialises in rare and fine jewellery such as precious metals and precious stones, Rock Vault is becoming the first stop for buyers who are interested in the fine jewels.

The London Fashion Week, which is held from 13^th to 17^th September 2013, will give the ten innovative designers the opportunity not only to show off fine jewellery, but to also show the depth and the artistic talents that can be found in British jewellery designers.
