Scottish Fashion Awards 2013

Last night, the Scots received the fashion awards at the glamorous Dover House and went on to celebrate at 8 Northumberland. A beautiful display of Scottish tradition was kept intact. From bag pipe playing and traditional kilts to the ladies wearing tartan dresses, extreme creative designs were embraced. They enjoyed a Scottish banquet and live music surrounded by stained glass and high ceilings.
Mary Charteris, who won Model of the Year, wore a glam-punk rock look turned classic, with a vintage Calvin Klein dress layered with a black feathered shawl.
Jennifer Morris picked up Young Designer of the Year. Hailing from Edinburgh and with studios in London, we’ve seen her produce four collections from London to Paris; Jennifer is one to watch.
Christopher Kane won Designer of the Year, a two-in-a-row consecutively for the Scottish designer.
The fashion elite celebrated their heritage in a glamorous and sophisticated awards ceremony. They finished in full fashion with an after party at Whisky Mist.
Huge congratulations to the nominees and winners!
