Zashadu: no longer fear sustainable fashion

Zashadu: no longer fear sustainable fashion
Zashadu: no longer fear sustainable fashion

Sustainable handbags? Often a scary concept that anyone with a sense of fashion trembles at, with the images of canvas with “We’re green!” on the side. But no longer does that have to be the way – with Zashadu on the scene sustainable screams style just as much as classy, or boho. 1

Having begun in Lagos, Nigeria, where Ashadu lives, all of the materials used are sourced from there. The bags are also made in West Africa using all of the native techniques handed down through generations. With sustainable material and design ideas these bags aren’t just made for looking pretty. 2

Being a finalist in The Independent Handbag Designer Awards 2014 in the FEED’s “Most Socially Responsible Handbag” category,  it’s not only customers that these bags have caught the eye of. It is undeniable; they are eye-catching. With sincere and strict lines making a uniform and clean look, but with earthy tones and materials being used to bring it down to earth a notch. 3

We adore them, and can already list numerous outfits of which each bag would perfectly complement. Also, there are so many brands out there with no real roots, that it’s actually refreshing to see a brand that doesn’t just mask their money-making agenda with bad style.

This brand is here to stay, grow, and become more and more successful with their original designs and extraordinary techniques, quite possibly making them the most interesting brand that we know.
