The Fayre of St James event has become more than a tradition, it’s not only exclusive and unmissable, the social value of its celebrity auction is fundamental.

Leona Lewis 2Last night saw 500 Londoners, St James’s residents and VIPs including, Hugh Grant, Leona Lewis, Gabrielle Aplin, Tamsin Egerton, Charlotte Tilbury, Lady Ella Windsor, Olivia Inge and Nick Frost, come together for Quintessentially Foundations and The Crown Estate in association with Quaglino’s.

The evening began with the beautiful Fayre of St James charity Christmas concert, which took place within the beautiful enclaves of St James’s Church. As well as traditional Christmas carols and hymns, taking centre stage were some of the UK’s leading celebrity performers including Gabrielle Aplin and Leona Lewis, with readings from Tamsin Egerton, Hugh Grant and Nick Frost, followed by the switching on of the Jermyn Street Christmas lights by Leona Lewis and the elegant Christmas party at Quaglino’s.

Guests enjoyed sumptuous canapés, champagne and Johnnie Walker Gold Label Reserve cocktails, with live entertainment from X Factor hopefuls Only the Young and a Johnnie Walker Gold Label Reserve photobooth created by world-famous photographer Rankin.

During the Christmas party, attendees were invited to take part in an exciting silent auction, the evening raised a staggering total of over £200,000 on the night which far surpassed their original target, with all proceeds donated to Rays of Sunshine, the UK charity committed to granting wishes for seriously and terminally ill children between the ages of three and 18.
