Portraying femininity at its finest, Pavane has managed to capture everything sophisticated about the female figure and enhance it through a naturalistic collection of well-tailored clothing. Dark green, black and grey were the main colour palette for the new season, showcasing a contrast between structure and free-flowing material.

Boxy jackets paired with loose palazzo trousers was the sort of combination you would expect to find, followed by a woodland-esque dark green and black printed structured dress, fitted to the curve of the back. The calculated tailoring of these pieces shows how Georgina Edmunds and Fiona Ransom understand the female anatomy and know what women want.

The bespoke fabrics have been developed by Pavane in Italy and had the couture finishing in the UK. There was an added depth to this collection; a woody undertone that made clothing earthy yet ever so refined. Many of the styles mirrored nature, such as fitted bodies partnered with flared bottoms mimicking a bird’s wings, whilst others took a more traditional approach including belted wool coats and faux fur jackets.

This collection may not be for the overt, but it is definitely for the strong and independent woman, whose taste is elegant verging on the side of luxury and, of course, with endless amounts of taste.
