Halloween make-up inspiration

Halloween make-up inspiration

We can’t believe it…it’s nearly here! No, not Christmas, Halloween! Our excitement and anticipation of cracking out the outrageous outfits and a thousand and one face paints grows stronger with each passing year and this October is no exception. So, if you’re like us and started Googling character looks in January but 10 months later still can’t decide what to go for, take a look at this list for some spookily good inspiration!

Harley Quinn

Since Margot Robbie’s ionic portrayal in Suicide Squad two years ago, we’ve seen more than our fair share of Harleys for Halloween. This look, however, takes that image and combines it with a comic book style of sketching which we think is incredible!

Spider Woman

Another comic book character here but with a little twist! Spider-woman is an amazing look to rock for your Halloween celebration and is easily accomplished with just some red face paint and liquid eyeliner!

 Glamorous Jigsaw dummy

Jigsaw’s ventriloquist dummy from the movie Saw has become a pretty common option for Halloween make-up. That being said we are absolutely loving this glamorous version and it’s super easy to achieve!

 Dead Disney princess

What if Snow White’s prince couldn’t save her? What if the Beast turned on Belle? What if Aurora couldn’t be woken from her slumber?! These clever yet darkly comic Disney princess looks are such a fun alternative to simply dressing as your favourite Disney character.

 Corpse bride

As terrifying as this look is, you get to wear some seriously dramatic make-up, a flower crown and even a veil so we’re all for it!

Bowie magi

Celebrate the lives of those that have passed with a special make-up tribute in their honour. This Bowie edition is absolutely beautiful and giving us all the feels!

Skull

Perhaps you love classic Halloween looks but you’re not such a huge fan of the blood and guts. Go for a timeless skull inspired look using just the items you have in your make-up bag. Add in a flower crown to give it some sugar skull vibes.

Wednesday Addams

This look is an absolute dream for those with last minute Halloween plans. It’s full of impact but takes barely any time to create.
