Go Get Waisted

Launched earlier last week is the to-die-for customised jacket range Waiste. Created by Sara Thomas and deriving from her inspirations of vintage and unique style, you will want to snap up all ten styles that this collection has to offer. A reflection of personal style is also apparent in Waiste, as Sara says she wouldn’t create something that she wouldn’t wear herself – which is always a great sign: if a designer will wear the clothes themselves then they will definitely be worth it.

Ranging from floral to studs these jackets have a definite grunge vibe. The photos for the collection are also beautiful. Modelled by the gorgeous Felix Burnett with hair in on-trend plaits in soft focus with blue palette, Waiste seems even more intriguing and appealing. We love them all, but here are some of our favourites to feast your eyes on.

This “All studded up” jacket is perfect for an evening out, teamed with some dark nails and covered in our season’s favourite, studs. The jacket is priced at £75.

We love this “Into the wild” deep burgundy jacket. With a lovely stag panel and Aztec trim, this is a complete one-off. It’s great for a festival and priced at £70.

“Floral in chains” is this cute feminine jacket with a gold chain collar, giving it a quirky edge. The tapestry pattern adds to the grunge theme and could be worn as a day jacket or to go to a gig.

“Tip dyed to heaven” – this wild child jacket is the colour-splash we need for this summer. It is like something from the 90s with a speckle of studs on the front and back.
