Nat Bowen, one of the UK’s leading abstract resin artists, is proud to unveil new collection 28 Fragments® on the 28th Floor in collaboration with the award-winning restaurant Galvin at Windows and 10 Degrees sky bar on the 28th floor of London Hilton on Park Lane.

On 20th September, Bowen will be bringing her vibrant new line to Galvin at Windows – a collection that features 28 of her trademarked Fragments® artworks. Set to launch during London Fashion Week, the restaurant will be transformed into a catwalk overlooking unparalleled views of central London to host the “artwalk” – an art exhibition come fashion show. The launch will be complete with models showcasing the new collection of 28 Fragments® to a live DJ set with Charlotte De Carle accompanied by new-wave opera fusion artist Claudillea against a backdrop of music-responsive illuminated artworks.

The former fashion designer and model says: “I am always looking at new and innovative ways to exhibit my work and, in this instance, I have reverted to my fashion roots. I am taking the idea of original contemporary artworks being highly coveted in today’s art market, much like the must-have accessories of the high-end fashion world and putting a playful spin on it by showcasing the Fragments® as wearable pieces. I’m blurring the line between fashion and art. I’ve always seen fashion and food as forms of creative expression so coming together with other creative minds at Galvin at Windows and merging my artworks with these other art forms takes this collaboration to another level.”

Galvin at Windows’ renowned head chef Marc Hardiman will be bringing innovative, exclusive additions to his scrumptious menu including colourful savoury delights inspired by Bowen’s artworks including Smoked Salmon, Yuzu & Beetroot Cornet; an Ice Lolly Feast Of Chicken Liver Parfait, Damson & Granola; and Mushroom & Truffle Doughnut. Sweet temptations come in the form of two artisan salted caramel and raspberry desserts resembling the Fragments®. Attendees will enjoy an immersive dining experience whilst having the opportunity to discover and acquire great art by Nat Bowen. The show will also be socially distanced and live streamed on Instagram.

“I feel privileged to be able to work alongside Nat to continue the evolution of Galvin at Windows, with my ambition to inspire guests through this next-level dining experience that redefines the style of service, style of artwork and style of modern cuisine,” said Peter Avis, General Manager of Galvin at Windows and 10 Degrees sky bar. “I’m eager to see and taste the innovations of Chef Marc Hardiman, as he masterfully creates exclusive delectable savoury and sweet delights to match the theme of the futuristic launch event.”

Moreover, from 20th September onwards two of Bowen’s signature large-scale colourful artworks will be permanently on display at Galvin at Windows, elevating the space and complementing the restaurant’s world-class dining experience. To top that, the 28 Fragments® on the 28th Floor collection will be available to acquire through Galvin at Windows while guests can also enjoy a bespoke cocktail specially created by Bar Manager Tomas Kracalik on offer at 10 Degrees until 3rd October – all inspired by Bowen’s signature style.

A favourite amongst celebrities and some of the world’s most prolific art collectors, Bowen is one of the UK’s most influential artists and has become well known for her colourful and lustrous multilayered resin pieces inspired by Chromology, the psychology of colour.
