Apple TV+ schedules global premiere of thriller Echo Valley starring Julianne Moore and Sydney Sweeney for June 2025

Apple Original Films has announced that its psychological thriller film, Echo Valley, will premiere globally on Apple TV+ on 13^th June 2025. The film, directed by BAFTA-winner Michael Pearce and written by Emmy-nominated screenwriter Brad Ingelsby, stars Julianne Moore, Sydney Sweeney and Domhnall Gleeson. 

Set against the backdrop of a rural American farm, Echo Valley centres on the tense and complex relationship between Kate, played by Oscar-winning actress Moore, and her daughter Claire, portrayed by Sweeney, who has received multiple Emmy nominations for her previous work. The plot follows Kate as she attempts to help Claire, who unexpectedly arrives at her mother’s home in a distraught state and covered in someone else’s blood. As Kate tries to unravel the events that led up to this moment, the film examines the extent to which a mother will go to protect her child.

Echo Valley also features Domhnall Gleeson, Fiona Shaw, Edmund Donovan, Albert Jones and Kyle MacLachlan in supporting roles. The film’s production brings together several notable industry figures, including producers Ridley Scott and Michael Pruss of Scott Free Films, Kevin J Walsh through The Walsh Company, and Brad Ingelsby. Executive producers include Ted Deiker, Scott Greenberg, Erika Olde, Sam Roseme, Nicole Jordan-Webber, and Rebecca Feuer.

The film marks a collaboration between established talents in film and television. Pearce’s direction and Ingelsby’s screenplay focus on themes of family, sacrifice, and survival.
